Generally, my research interests are in collective identity, i.e., ways views of the groups or categories we belong to relate to our views of ourselves. I am particularly interested in ways people handle discrepancies between the way they view themselves and the way society may view a group to which they belong. I have on occasion done some research on other topics. Below are my publications on these and related topics as well as some posters with students.
